The Maker's Child is a 501(c)(3) non-profit special needs ministry located in Marshall County, Alabama. It provides support and activities for families of children with physical, developmental, mental, emotional, or medically fragile conditions. The ministry includes Sunday and Wednesday services during worship, a monthly respite programs hosted by local churches, an inclusive playground, and is working towards building a pediatric palliative care center. This center will provide overnight respite stays for medically fragile children and will include space to continue monthly respite nights. We will also work to employee adults with special needs to assist with daily operations at the center.
